A belated but heartfelt Happy New Year from us to you!
Two weeks into this next year it was hoped we could begin this message reflecting on how things were improving and that we could turn our attention to moving forward.

Regretfully that isn’t yet the case and we are being asked to double down with regards to staying at home, being vigilant, taking care of ourselves and everyone else by minimizing contact, wearing masks and washing our hands. The toll this takes is significant and we are committed to continuing our support of you as a community and as people we care deeply about. And we are going to keep doing that by pivoting, adapting and evolving – our mantra for 2020 continues into 2021.

Precisely because of how important it is for us to focus on being in the moment to keep ourselves grounded and from becoming overwhelmed the Board is focusing on immediate priorities for the foreseeable future. Right now that means we are monitoring our budget, staffing and maintaining/developing programming that is responsive to what is needed now. As the situation calls for change so will we.

What doesn’t change is that we will keep the virtual doors open, keep communicating and are always open to hearing from you if you have questions/concerns and if you have questions about what that looks like or you are interested in volunteering in any way feel free to email us at: board@beachuc.com

We are planning to host our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday February 28th via Zoom, so please mark 11:30 am in your calendars. In the meantime we want to acknowledge the incredible contributions of our volunteers who selflessly and at some risk are continuing to live our faith in service to others.

Please stay safe and connected to the people who love and support you and know we are thinking of you.
