Under the name The Beach Cares, all of us brought a family of five, (now grown to six) in 2016 and a family of three (now grown to four) in 2018 to Canada. We have continued to support these families in different ways since the sponsorship ended.

In December, 2019, we welcomed Maram, who fled Damascus, for Lebanon, when the war came to her suburb. Maram promptly threw herself into improving her English. She is a bright, motivated young woman who will make a great contribution to the country and community in the near future.

Unfortunately, the pandemic put an end to our carefully planned fundraising event. We need $5000 to fulfill our sponsorship responsibilities. We’d appreciate your help.
