Church has a very different place in society now compared to 50 or 60 years ago, let alone 200 or 1,000 years ago. Regardless, people still hunger and thirst for meaning and spirituality.
At Beach United, you’ll find an informal style of worship that is biblically based. Our worship services are less traditional than many United Church congregations but you will still find familiar spiritual rituals such as baptism and communion.
Our Sunday morning worship services start at 10:30 a.m. with coffee/tea and conversation, then we gather for hymn singing, scripture readings, reflections on the scripture and prayer.
Music for the Soul Series
Our Jazz & Reflection services are on Saturday afternoons, starting at 4:30 p.m. and ending at 5:15 p.m.
Organ Stops is a concert series showcasing the organ and takes place on Saturday afternoons at 4:30 p.m.
SoundWave is another music event at Beach United Church. Come and listen to Indie folk music on Saturday afternoons at 4:30 p.m.
