A child is born

This is the song around which Heather Bambrick will weave her musical magic on December 11th. The image of a newborn child softens the heart and hopefully strengthens our will to work for peace in the world.

A child is born by Thad Jones & Alex Wilder
Now out of the light, new as the dawn,
This child, innocent child,
Soft as a fawn, this child is born.
One small heart, one pair of eyes,
One work of art, here in my arms,
here he lies, trusting and warm,
Blessed this morn.

Advent blessings of peace to you all,
Karen Dale, in ministry with Beach United Church
