Fond Farewell

I am doing a lot of things for the last time right now, as my ministry with Beach United draws to a close. These are bittersweet moments because wonderful memories surface but there are also feelings of sadness. It is all part of the journey of endings and beginnings which make up all of our lives.

In this last eBlast message, I want to say a sincere thank you for the many gifts you have given me over the years and last Sunday a tangible gift of money. I am going to donate the money you have shared with me so very generously to three organizations close to my heart. In this way your gifts will ripple out into the world and continue to make a difference.

Mission & Service Fund UCC – “Pay it forward”, $25 provides a full vaccination to someone in the world who needs one. Donated 25 x $25 [Vaccine procurement, logistics, and delivery provided through UNICEF]
David Suzuki Foundation – gifts for a healthy planet that promote climate solutions, protect critters and support a safer future for all. Donated $625
Fred Victor - provides housing and shelter in Toronto for men, women and families who live in extreme poverty, are marginally housed or are homeless. Donated $625

Love & blessings,
Karen
