Tune in to a brand new virtual concert series at Beach United Church, as we feature the music of incredible local musicians, brought to you from their own homes to yours. Sit back and enjoy indie, folk, country, and more, along with personal anecdotes and recollections from the musicians themselves.

In our first concert in this new series, we are very pleased to welcome the talented Belinda Corpuz and Malcolm Connor.

Belinda Corpuz is a Filipina Toronto-based actor, musician, and creator. As a musician, Belinda is known for her versatile voice, and collaborative spirit. Through her work, Belinda’s goal is to create something honest that all may connect to. Belinda’s debut EP All I Am has garnered national radio-play, including features on CBC Radio.

Belinda holds a BMus in Performance - Jazz Voice from the University of Toronto-Faculty of Music. As an actor and theatre creator, Belinda has developed new Canadian works with Factory Theatre, Nightwood, Cahoots, Soulpepper. Belinda is a co-founder and member of all-Filipina, multi-award winning group, Tita Collective.

Malcolm Connor has established himself as a sought after bassist in Toronto’s vibrant music scene. Malcolm has been recorded on multiple albums ranging from jazz to modern folk and hip-hop. An alumnus of University of Toronto Jazz Program and student of Dave Young, Malcolm has shared the stage with Canada’s best, including Mike Murley, Robi Botos, Kirk MacDonald and Terry Clarke.
