Spring has sprung!
The sunflower is not a spring flower but nothing trumpets life more enthusiastically. It is well named not so much because it looks like the sun but because it follows the sun. The sunflower is a satellite dish for sunshine. Wherever light is no matter how weak, these flowers will find it. That is such an admirable thing - such a lesson for life in these difficult times.
Organist Maria Gajraj, will bring the brightness of sunshine and sunflowers into our lives through the music of Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Grieg and Daveluy.
Maria is a passionate musician, collaborator, and educator. She strives to break stereotypes within the organ world, and brings a fresh, unique perspective to her work as she follows the sun through her love of music!
