Daily Rhythms

It might seem like there are less things that we have control over these days and that is unsettling. I find comfort in the daily rhythm of preparing meals – I might not know what day of the week it is but I know when it’s lunch time!

Sunday was the grounding point of my week but as I now record services at different times that has changed. Worship is no less important to me but the timing and rhythm has altered. What has remained steadfast is the Thursday Take-out Lunch, where I join with the team who cook, bake & serve, to provide pastoral support.

If food is an important part of your life I encourage you to join Mairlyn Smith for a cooking demo “Food, Fun & Fibre”. This might be an opportunity to add some regularity to your life!
