Beach United Church brings the vibrant spirit of New Orleans to its stage with Roberta Hunt and Red Hot Ramble. Come enjoy a special Christmas show on Saturday, Dec. 6th at 4:30pm that blends traditional jazz, blues, funk and more!
All proceeds help support Beach United’s music and community programs. As always, our concerts are pay-what-you-can, with a suggested minimum of $15.
Red Hot Ramble brings the vibrant spirit of New Orleans to life with a unique Canadian twist. Blending traditional jazz, blues, funk, along with Second Lines, their music is as fitting for a lively club as it is for a wedding. With performances full of heart and soul, Red Hot Ramble turns every show into a celebration of life’s ups, downs, celebrations, blues, and everything in between.
Led by Roberta Hunt (piano & vocals), the band features Alison Young (saxophone), RJ Satchithananthan (trombone), Jack Zorawski (bass), and Glenn Anderson (drums). Known for their infectious energy and undeniable stage presence, Red Hot Ramble lives by the motto: “Come as you are, leave different.”
