The Inter-faith Lunch Program at Beach United Church is up and running every Thursday.
This continues to be a pick-up lunch from 11am to 12 noon, just outside the main doors.
For everyone’s safety we ask that you –
- wear a mask
- keep a 2m distance from others
- pick-up and go
The Beach Interfaith Lunch Program is a drop-in lunch that takes place at different church locations throughout the week, offering a nutritious meal for low income, homeless friends, or anyone who is hungry. All programs start at 11:00 a.m. from October to May [extended into June during pandemic].
Volunteers are always needed. Donations of lunch supplies (tinned salmon and ham for sandwiches, and sheet cakes, muffins, and cookies for dessert) are also greatly appreciated. To volunteer, please contact Jim McKibbin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also contact the church office to get involved.
