At Beach United Church, we believe that weddings are a rite of passage for all committed couples regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or religious/non-spiritual background. Our beautiful space is available to rent for ceremonies and receptions. If you would like our minister Rev. Wedding Policy
As part of our learning and growth journey towards becoming an Affirming Community under the auspices of Affirm United / S’affirmer Ensemble (AUSE), Beach United Church has crafted this marriage policy to shape and focus our commitment.
At Beach United Church, we affirm who you love and we celebrate all marriages recognized by the Province of Ontario. We honour your history, sexual orientation, gender identity, and diversity of religious backgrounds and traditions. We make the ceremony sacred by incorporating aspects of who you are as a couple.
Our ministry staff may perform marriage ceremonies within the church building and offsite. Consultation with the staff to celebrate each couple’s culture and spiritual background is encouraged.
