Thank you to The United Church of Canada Foundation for granting us the Wesley C. Smith Fund ($3000) for Peace and Justice Programs, in support of our Queer Youth United program 💕

Queer Youth United (QYU) is a weekly drop in for youth and young adults (15-29) who identify within the Queer community, and more specifically with a desire to focus on the experiences and needs of transgender people. Beach United Church offers safe(r) space for transgender and questioning individuals in a space that offers positive alternatives to engaging the world. QYU is about celebrating and encouraging queer youth in the universal call to “live as our authentic selves”.

Christmas Market 2023 Recap

We want to thank everyone who came out to our Christmas Market this year – it was such a fantastic day, full of so much joy and Christmas spirit. We also want to thank all of our vendors, our many, many incredible volunteers, and our wonderful staff.

We would also like to thank all of the realtors who took the time to build, design and donate gingerbread houses for our silent auction – these were such a highlight of the market!

Queer Youth United

Starting January 18th, 2024, Queer Youth United (QYU) will meet on Thursdays from 4-7pm – you may drop in at any time between those hours.

QYU is a 2SLGBTQ+ youth group for ages 15-29, where you can come and engage with others in a safe space within the community, while sharing meals, finding support and resources.
