Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Out of the Cold program is not operating from Beach United Church

The Out of the Cold program operates at Beach United Church on Monday evenings from November to April. This is one location of 16 sites across the City that provides a warm place to sleep for people experiencing homelessness. For more information about Out of the Cold and the other locations, click here.

Everyone is welcome to come for supper and there is room for 22 guests to sleep-over.
People wishing to sleep over at the Out of the Cold are encouraged to come early to sign in.

Doors open for the program at 4:00 p.m. This program is a collaboration between St. Aidan’s Anglican Church and Beach United Church, with staff support from Dixon Hall.

Volunteers are drawn from the two churches and from the wider community. People interested in volunteering with the program should contact Margaret Betts at margbetts@rogers.com.
